Petra was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She started her career in Czech Telecom where she headed several projects including enterprise development programmes. It was her passion for learning about new worlds and businesses that resulted in Petra working in many international locations, the longest of which was in Seychelles.Here she managed a private lodge, developed new markets for the biggest domestic management agency and eventually started her own destination marketing agency.

Her business brought her to Johannesburg in 2006 to consult on a tourism project for local developers. Petra is a co-funder of Lean Enterprise Acceleration Programmes (LEAP) focusing on accelerating growth of small enterprises through meaningful business support and technology. She now heads up her new award winning Edutech startup Why Toyz which shapes future leaders!

Specialties: She has a vast experience in growing business opportunities into great sustainable ventures. She specialises in Enterprise Development, Supply Chain Optimisation, Customer Retention & Acquisition and Marketing. She speaks English, German, French and Czech fluently. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the III and hosts the Kids Club, part of the virtual Inventors Club which is run on the first Wednesday of the month.
