Dr. Rikus Grobler is a Namibian business professional, inventor, writer, public speaker and consultant. He holds a Ph.D. and an MBA from Stellenbosch University, as well as degrees in Engineering and Law. Further, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has had some 22 years’ experience in the manufacturing, IT, financial services and consulting industries.   Rikus has spent the last seven years at the Capricorn Investment Group in Namibia as Manager: Innovation, where he drives the incubation and development of new products, services, processes, and business models. In 2020 he published a business book titled ‘Innovation made Simple’ and being a keen inventor and product developer himself, he has filed three provisional patent applications for his inventions with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).

He is keenly interested in developing youth STEAM invention and innovation programmes in Namibia and is a Founding Director of the Inventors Association Namibia which is affiliated to the Institute of Inventors and Innovators in South Africa. He is an inventRight alumnus and is well informed about the Licensing business model for Inventors and Innovators. He was appointed and currently serves as a Panelist for Pitch-it to the Panel™ sessions.
