From Johannesburg, Luke sought to satisfy his early intrigue for aircraft by completing his B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. He spent several years as a Design Engineer in the corporate sector working on the development of material handling machinery, but then developed an appetite for business and the freedom of working for himself. The opportunity to further explore the possibilities of engineering was too good to let pass so he co-founded EDC. Engineering Design Consultants is an engineering firm focused on the development of engineered products and solutions for Aeronautical, Electrical and Mechanical systems. Luke is a certified SolidWorks (Dassault Systems) professional.
