Christina joined Smit and Van Wyk as a patent attorney. She has an M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from North-West University (Potchefstroom campus). She is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and at Smit and Van Wyk Attorneys, attends to patent and trade mark filings and prosecution of local and international patent and trade mark applications on behalf of both South African and foreign based clients. Further, she has two years’ experience in the synthesis of novel drug molecules and has worked for 3 years in product stewardship, which manages the life cycle impacts of products on safety, health and environmental aspects.
